Yes, for this course many of the exercises are on the floor, on a mat. These stretches are not safe or effective to do while standing or seated in a chair.
You'll need a soft floor, mat, or something to cushion yourself with while on the floor. No other equipment is needed, but a yoga block or pillow may make you more comfortable.
Yes, you can still do this course, HOWEVER, no matter what your current condition, if your condition deteriorates, becomes suddenly more painful, or if some very specific symptoms appear you must stop. Full details are in the safety module of this course.
Most of the stretches and exercises are simple and use only your own body weight. Nearly all the exercises are on the floor so that falling is not an issue. There are however, some moves that require a reasonable level of strength and stamina. These are all optional!
